CIFAL Jeju organized a virtual workshop on “Cities for All: Enabling Sustainable and Inclusive Urban Planning” on May 10-12, 2023. The workshop invited 167 representatives from government sector along with NGOs, academia, and private sector. They came from 15 countries including: Bangladesh, Cambodia, Canada, the Philippines, France, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Uganda, and Republic of Korea.

This three-day program consisted of expert lectures, Q&A sessions, interactive quiz activities, and individual assignments. The workshop explored how to make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable(SDG 11) while looking at ways to address urbanization from the perspectives of gender equality and persons with disabilities. Participants also studied on how building inclusive public spaces could contribute to making cities inclusive and equitable.

제주국제연수센터는 도시화 현황, 문제점 및 해결방안 등을 주제로 한 온라인 워크숍을 2023.5.10-12간 제주에서 개최하였다. 특히, 도시화로 인해 발생하는 문제점, 해결방안 및 장애인 접근권 보장, 양성평등 등의 시각에서 바라본 포용적이고 지속가능한 도시화 방안 등을 살펴보았다.
