UNITAR CIFAL Jeju hosted the online workshop “Empowering Education for an Inclusive, Resilient, and Peaceful Future” on April 24–25, 2025, with 665 participants registered from 85 countries. The keynote session emphasized the role of education in strengthening climate resilience, fostering social-emotional learning(SEL), and aligning efforts across systems for greater impact. Deep-dive sessions explored key themes such as climate-resilient schooling, digital equity and community-based technology initiatives, inclusive vocational education for future-ready skills, peace and inclusion in conflict-affected settings, and youth-centered education for nonviolence. Participants explored global case studies and strengthened their capacity to design context-specific educational approaches promoting peace, inclusion, and resilience.

UNITAR CIFAL 제주 국제연수센터는 2025년 4월 24일부터 25일까지 「포용적이고 회복력 있는 평화로운 미래를 위한 교육역량 강화」를 주제로 온라인 워크숍을 개최하였다. 이번 워크숍에는 교육 역량 강화 업무 종사자를 중심으로 전 세계 85개국에서 665명이 등록하였다. 기조강연에서는 교육이 기후 회복력 강화를 비롯해 사회·정서적 학습(SEL)을 촉진하고, 다양한 시스템 간의 협력을 통해 더 큰 사회적 영향을 만들어내는 데 있어 핵심적인 역할을 수행함을 강조하였다. 이어진 집중 세션에서는 기후 회복력 기반 학교 교육, 디지털 형평성과 지역 기반 기술 활용, 미래 역량 강화를 위한 포용적 직업교육, 분쟁 지역 내 평화와 포용 증진 방안, 비폭력을 위한 청소년 중심 교육 등 다양한 주제가 다뤄졌다. 참가자들은 전 세계 사례를 바탕으로 각 지역 사회의 맥락에 맞는 교육적 접근을 설계할 수 있는 역량을 강화하며, 평화, 포용, 회복탄력성 증진을 위한 실천적 전략을 모색하는 시간을 가졌다.
