We are delighted to announce that the 2023 Jeju International Future Generation Forum (JIFF) will be held from November 24th to 26th, 2023, hosted by the Jeju Self-Governing Province and co-organized with the UNITAR CIFAL Jeju.
The Forum presents an excellent opportunity for close to 60 young leaders from Jeju and Jeju’s sister cities to explore global issues, promote youth empowerment, and create concrete measures and strategies to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) ∥ Jeju International Training Center (JITC)
Participants International and domestic young adults.
Approximately 60 participants from Jeju and Jeju’s Sister Cities in the Asia-Pacific region and worldwide.

FORUM TOPIC

Main Topic : A Sustainable Future through the Language of Youth
Sub - topics : There will be four teams to cover four sub-topics. Participants can choose their topic of interest and will be assigned to a tea

SDG 13, 14, 15: Engage youth in climate action to conserve the environment and build sustainable cities and communities.
Topic 2
Equality and Justice
SDG 5, 10, 16: Achieve gender equality, reduce inequality, fostering just and inclusive urban communities.
Topic 3
Prosperity and Innovation
SDG 8, 9, 12: Promoting fair and just economic opportunities for youth through sustainable transformation.
Topic 4
Global Jeju
SDG 11: Encourage the youth to reflect on Jeju’s past and present in order to build a sustainable future.

2022 Jeju International Future Generation Forum(JIFF)

 

We are delighted to announce that we will launch 2022 Jeju International Fugure Generation Forum(hereinafter "JIFF) to be held in Jeju Island, South Korea on November 4, 2022. 

This forum will provide a venue where over 150 young adults around the world convene to empower the youth as future global leaders. They will be given excellent opportunities to discuss global agendas and exchange ideas with a special focus on Sustainable Development Goals for a better common future for all.

      1) Youth Leadership Capacity-building program (Sep 24 to Oct 22)

5 sessions for Policy Proposal and Youth Empowerment Project proposal

: Participanats across the globe work together as a team online. This program guides international and domestic participants in developing policy and youth empowerment project proposals.
